IMPOSSIBLE
PROJECTS
IN MARBLE.
Custom marble and natural stone since 1964, from survey to installation — with over 2,800 slabs in stock near Verona, Italy.
See howThe people behind the stone
From the simplest cut…
…to the most complex project
Savoia Marmi has been crafting custom marble and natural stone since 1964, in its workshop in Ponton di Domegliara, Verona — Italy. We work for private clients, architects and interior designers, but also for stone fabricators who entrust us with their most demanding production stages.
From here we follow projects across Italy, Europe, the United States and Asia.
What we do
The most difficult projects
start here.
Five complex capabilities under one roof: bookmatched marble, backlit stone, curved slabs, solid marble and sculpture. These are the stages other workshops outsource — often to us.
01
Backlit marble and onyx
We backlight not only crystals and quartzites, but materials that would seem impossible to make translucent, thinning them down to 3 mm.

02
Bookmatched marble
Twin slabs from consecutive cuts of the same block, mirror-matched. Every pairing is engineered to the millimetre before cutting.

03
Curved marble from 20 mm slabs
Curved surfaces from 20 mm slabs: segments cut at calculated angles and assembled, with joints imperceptible to the human eye.

04
Solid marble and monolithic pieces
From a single block to the final form — from softer materials like Botticino to the hardest, like Taj Mahal.
05
Sculpture and one-off 3D elements
From a client's drawing or sketch to a form carved in marble: capitals, monumental fireplaces, custom elements.
How we work
How is custom marble
actually made?
In four stages: site survey, design on the real slabs, fabrication, installation. You can entrust us with the whole chain or only the stages you need — it's not an all-or-nothing package.
Survey
We take the exact measurements of the space: the basis for every stage that follows.
Design
Before cutting we digitize the chosen slabs and build the design on their real veining. What you approve is what you get.
Fabrication
The marble takes shape: cutting, bookmatching, curving, backlighting — every technique serving the project.
Installation
We install the project in its destination, checking that it matches what was agreed.
No bundled package
Many workshops entrust us with a single stage: a curve, a backlight, a bookmatch.
Outsource a fabrication stageThe technical side
You design.
We handle the rest.
Architects and designers shouldn't have to become stone experts. Which marble takes that kind of use, how the veins meet, what holds up a slab weighing three hundred kilos: those sums are ours to do.
We choose the stone for the use you will give it
A kitchen worktop is not a decorative wall: scratches, stains, heat and humidity weigh differently on every stone. We recommend the stone, and any treatments, according to the use you will make of it.
Vein continuity and visual balance
The veins carry on from one slab to the next, turn the corners and line back up. Where it helps we follow the vein with the joints too, instead of cutting them straight, and we spread the pattern evenly across the wall.
We make the load-bearing structures ourselves
On request we supply frames and supports for statues, solid-marble pieces and large elements, engineered and calculated on the real weight, the shape and the way they will be installed.
Heating and services inside the marble
We supply heating coils, technical supports, fixings and parts that can be opened and inspected, fitted inside the stone without showing — and without making maintenance impossible.
And also what is not stone
On request we supply shells, frames, supports and mechanisms in stainless steel, wood, okoumé plywood and other materials.
One single partner, from the stone to everything that makes it possible.
Selected projects
Marble, taken
where it seemed impossible.
Marble bathrooms and showers, Calacatta kitchens, carved fireplaces, bathtubs from a single block, backlit walls. Every project began with the slabs in our warehouse.

Yes: our warehouse holds over 2,800 slabs in more than 80 varieties, also for supply only. In Italy we deliver in 2–7 working days; abroad, timing is agreed per project.
-
Yes: we follow projects across Europe, the United States and Asia, including shipyards and yacht refits. Fabrication always happens in our workshop in Ponton di Domegliara, Verona — Italy.
-
It depends on material, thickness, fabrication and installation: two projects identical on paper can differ widely in cost depending on the stone. Send us your drawing: we'll tell you how we would build it, with which materials and a precise quote.

Send us a drawing, a concept or a material challenge: we'll study how to build it and come back with a concrete proposal.
