Legal information
Privacy & Cookies
This page explains what data we collect through savoiamarmi.com, why, and how you can control it. It serves both as a privacy notice (Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and as a cookie policy.
Who processes your data
The data controller is Savoia Marmi, VAT number IT00813730231, based at Via Colombare 3, Ponton di Domegliara, Verona (Italy) 37015. For any privacy request, write to [email protected].
Data collected through the contact form
When you fill in the contact form we collect your name, email, phone number (if you give it) and the content of your message, solely to reply to you. Submission is handled by Web3Forms, a third-party service that receives the form data and forwards it to our mailbox; Web3Forms may process data outside the European Economic Area — see its own privacy notice for details. We keep messages for as long as needed to handle your request.
Legal basis: your consent, given by ticking the box before submitting the form.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate form, how the site is used (pages visited, traffic sources). The script only loads if you consent through the banner shown on your first visit: if you decline, or make no choice, Google Analytics does not run. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, which also processes data in the United States under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. You can change your choice at any time from the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of the page.
Legal basis: your consent.
YouTube videos
Some pages show a video hosted on YouTube, which only starts if you click it — it never autoplays. We use YouTube's "privacy-enhanced mode" (youtube-nocookie.com), which reduces tracking compared with the standard embed; once you start the video, YouTube (Google LLC) may still set its own cookies, under its own notice.
Cookies we use
- No first-party cookies of our own. Your cookie choice is remembered in your browser's localStorage, not in a cookie, and needs no consent: it only stops us asking again on every visit.
- Statistics cookies, only if you consent: Google Analytics'
_gaand_ga_*, set by Google to measure visits in aggregate. Lifespan up to 2 years. - Possible third-party cookies: if you start a YouTube video, Google may set cookies tied to playback.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, request its correction or deletion, restrict its use, object to processing, and receive a copy of it (portability). You can exercise these rights by writing to [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it), or with your own country's supervisory authority.
Changes to this page
We may update this notice over time, for example if the tools used on the site change.
